Thanks so much, what kind words. Also, with you on bouldering! Tried it for the first time last year and loved it (though so much harder than I thought 🤣)
If anything the aches in my arms and round the sides of my torso are even worse now a couple of days later! But so good to know me & my ageing bones can still try something new and not make a total tit of myself 😆
Vigil - yup, the first series, but not the second (yet).
Haircuts - hate them. Last month I went to the hairdresser for the first time since 2019. I'm so happy to have had it done, but let's just say that I find the process an awkward one. Husband is glad that I'm going to a professional again, rather making him do it (which I did on two occasions during Covid).
Yay, another new boulderer in the making (is that a word?!) You should defo give it a try, it's a lot of fun! 😃
That's a brilliant tip for Hello, Adversity - Chris looks like he's really covering the same sort of ground we may be getting into in the film so I am gonna get stuck into his archive. My cousin is learning disabled and through him I've met quite a few different people with varying levels of outwardly visible physical disabilities, but it was only in talking to my friend that I realised how ignorant and lacking awareness I was/am of chronic illness and disabilities that aren't so obvious. Am keen to rectify this and start educating myself.
And re haircuts, clearly Jim is an angel to have cut your hair in Covid times. My other half did his and our son's but drew the line at attempting to cut my long lady locks. Honestly, it's such a relief to know other people don't like the hairdressers either!
Oh great, I’m so glad to learn you’re checking out Chris’s posts - they’re super!
LOL to haircuts! I trimmed Jim’s hair before we went away at the weekend and noticed while we were away that I’d lopped off a huge chunk that really stood out. Well, its non-existence stood out, put it that way!
I've been away so am really behind on responding to notifications - apologies that this reply is daaaaays late!!!
