First Frank Cottrell-Boyce, now Annabel Port replying to me on the internet! What a time to be alive 😄 Really chuffed to have found you on here. Have just treated myself to a paid subscription too - I reckon the audio versions will be worth the price of admission alone eh.
It was absolutely fascinating. God, wouldn't it be amazing to be able to talk to those women in those photos! Your post about them is definitely the next best thing though... I can tell I'm going to be spending many happy hours lost in your wonderful stories from the archives - and first stop will definitely be Gwen Raverat (she's on my list of women I'd love to try and make a doc about one day...)
Wouldn’t it. Would prob need to be mostly crowdfunded as I suspect any broadcasters would consider her too ‘niche’. Though possibly the Darwin connection might open some doors. One day…🤞🏽
Thanks so much for the mention!

Oh amazing - thank you!
Thanks so much for the mention, Vicki! Good to know that my posts about 1897 resonated with you, as a former Cambridge student yourself.

Thank you! And a documentary about Raverat would be AMAZING.
