Vicki, thank you so much for mentioning my story, I am so honored! I also wanted to say, I can relate so much to "real life isn't always going to adhere to the plan, no matter how prettily coloured the fine liner pens it's written in may be..!" Oh, but I try SO hard with all my colored fine-point, erasable pens!! Hopefully, this next week is not so rough and there are no vomiting children! Thanks, Vicki!
I suddenly had a burst of ideas about one of the new doc ideas I'm developing whilst watching The Sky at Night on the telly last night - when the soil is fertile anything can happen eh 😁
The Radio 4 sitcom you mean? Just a coincidence, though I did listen to it back in the day. A deep cut... 😄 (or maybe you're talking about a completely different Cabin Pressure?!)
I mainly remember Stephanie Cole's delicious tones - I see there are loads of episodes on Youtube, I'll have to go back and give it a re-listen. Little Benedict Cumberbatch before he got all grown up and mega-famous 😆
Hi Vicki – thank you for the mention. I really appreciate it! "Bob's Birthday" taught me what a mid-life crisis was before I'd even hit my teens (and made me a tad more suspicious of my dentist). I enjoyed reading your post. Totally agree about phone interviews!
Vomiting 4yo is stuff made of nightmares I’ve still got two young ones at home and we still have these kinds of adventures 🤪
I’m definitely going to be looking into the marketing without social media! I’m one that knows it’s a necessity evil but also don’t want to commit to all the work it takes 😟
Oops missed this reply somehow (is vomit-blind a thing?!! 🤣) I know what you mean about marketing. I'm definitely not a natural with it either. I'm definitely happiest chatting in person - if only we could market our films and whatnot with a good old fashioned market stall eh!

I *loved* what you wrote - the story of the poppy seed reveal was just 💞 PS erasable colour pens??!! I think I need to seek these out pronto!
Here's a link to what I use. Pricey but fun!

And thank you - yes, the poppy seed thing was so special!
6 - you are flying!!
One a week since you first kick started the idea I think - it all adds up eh 🤩
Thanks for the shout out, it sounds like you have so much going on, I’m sure the green shoots will appear soon! 👏👏

Thank you for the mention! And your opening line made me think of Cabin Pressure - are you a fan or is it a coincidence/just my brain?

No, that’s the one. I have listened to it so many times 😂

Yes! My kids loved it when they were younger. We used to listen to it every December.
